The Wine Shop was sold in 1999 to create Galaxy Wine Company with the goal of providing Restaurants, Wine Shops and Grocery Stores and Oregon’s upscale Marketplaces with excellent service, wine expertise and, of course, fine wine. We import, represent and distribute an unparalleled selection of wineries from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Germany, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, and North and South Africa. Galaxy Wine Company is the appointed distributor in Oregon for Dr. Loosen USA, Atlasian Cellars (Algerian wines), Vineyard Brands, Maisons, Marques & Domaines, Winebow, Dalla Terra, The Rare Wine Company, Ex Cellars, New Castle Imports, The Sorting Table, Martine’s Wines, Classical Wines of Spain and Terry Theise Grower Champagnes. We import directly Champagne Joseph Perrier, Maison Louis Latour, Giacomo Conterno and Bordeaux from Schroder & Schyler (including Chartron Lafleur and Chateau Kirwan Margaux) and Ginestet (including Marquis de Chasse).
