TENUTA SANT'ANTONIO
Located in the hills of the Valpolicella zone of Northern Italy, just to the north of Verona and a smidge west of Lago di Garda, Tenuta Sant'Antonio is a delightful mix of old world and new. In 1989, four brothers, Armando, Tiziano, Massimo and Paulo Castagnedi purchased 30 hectares (about 75 acres) of land not far from the 20 hectares of land their father owned, giving birth to the estates first wines as Tenuta Sant'Antonio in 1995. The commitment to the highest quality wines combined with the extensive estate vineyard holdings situate them as one of only a handful of properties in Valpolicella capable of producing world class wines.

The wines:
2006 Valpolicella DOC
2004 Valpolicella Ripasso Monti Garbi
2003 Amarone della Valpolicella Selezione Antonio Castagnedi

HIRSCH VINEYARDS — Sonoma Coast
Perched on a ridge overlooking the Pacific at Fort Ross, Sonoma County, Hirsch Vineyards is the birthground of great Pinot Noir on the Sonoma coast. David Hirsch founded the vineyard on the extreme Sonoma coast to grow fruit and make site-specific wine.

This complex, unique site produces fruit and wines of unusual acidity and balance with a vintage specific concentration of pinot noir or chardonnay fruit. These are wines to be enjoyed now or laid down for future consumption.

"The Sonoma Coast is an extraordinary location for Pinot Noir. It has the capacity...of someday creating America's grand cru Pinot Noirs"

– Matt Kramer, New California Wine
